Our kitchen remodel by Hiline Builders (Phil) was a complete success and as painless as a kitchen remodel could be. Phil scheduled the subcontractors so that there were no wasted days during the project. He also saw to it that the house was kept as clean as possible (under the circumstances) and that we would have access to our appliances throughout the remodel. When any snags arose Phil was quick to let us know about them and he saw to it that they were taken care of as quickly as possible. The remodel was finished 2 weeks ahead of schedule and almost $2,000 under budget. We plan on using Hiline when we have the bathroom remodeled.

10/17/2012- Phil Vanderloo of Hiline Builders has just completed our amazing remodel and we could not be happier with the finished product! Phil managed all aspects of the remodel and did a great, great job. The wall between our kitchen and family roo
m was removed and a dormer roof (Phil’s idea!) added over the kitchen to add ceiling height and more windows into what was formerly a dark, 1970’s ranch style kitchen with little counter space. The room is now so light, modern and pleasant to be in and with the wall gone it is so much bigger and welcoming. The amount of counter space and cupboards we have now is like a dream. We were consulted throughout the design phase and Phil was very receptive to input from us. We also had an additional bedroom/office added on at the same time. His subcontractors were all so professional, very experienced, courteous and respectful. They worked around us living in the house during the construction even though that is not the easiest for them and were reliable, trustworthy and they cleaned up promptly. It is obvious to us they have worked together with Phil for many years and that their level of expertise provides a high quality product. What a team! Phil is a pleasure to work with and we would not hesitate to have him back for future projects. We absolutely love our remodeled home and cannot thank Phil enough!
